In her project, Diana Artemyeva focuses on the vision of the Sim artist, who got beyond his creator’s (the player’s) control due to some neuronet features, but couldn’t become absolutely free. Is his art secondary or derivative? The abstracts and figurative images snatched out from the digital world express total loneliness of the ‘person’ who is not free from control. Can creative thinking exist within the tight boundaries and pre-determined scenarios?
