Яoma Bantik

Contemporary artist, who finds inspiration in the industrial heritage and nature of his homeland – the Ural Territory. Graduate of Industrial Design Department (Ural State University of Architecture and Arts). In 2020, after his solo project IGЯA the artist started experimenting with metal, which is has become the basis for his current works. In the same year, he created his first digital installation in Space 2046 (CROSBY STUDIOS) and took part in the collaborative exhibition of TZVETNIK Association (ISSMAG GALLERY).
The artist defines his creative practice as a game and poetry of life which explores humans and the subject of locations ‘in between’ in space and time. He theatricalizes his own everyday life and finds inspiration in his own childhood memories, impressions, and dreams. He currently resides and works in Europe.
